James Dodwell

James is a Managing Director on the capital markets team and is responsible for all public and private market equity trading. He is a key component of the fund's execution capabilities, ensuring first-class execution for the fund, our limited partners and portfolio companies. His responsibilities also extend to oversight of WestCap Markets broker-dealer activities. James spent 20 years at Goldman Sachs in Capital Markets in both the Securities and Investment Management Divisions. During his tenure, he was instrumental in the formation and expansion of several high-impact teams, notably the Single Stock Risk Management, Corporate and Venture Services, Master Limited Partnership, and Cross Markets teams. James spent three years at UBS, the world’s largest wealth manager, as a leader in the Family Office Solutions team. In this role, he provided strategic advice to family offices and ultra-high-net-worth clients (with assets exceeding $250 million) across a wide range of financial disciplines.
