Coach Mike leads the Customer Success Advisory Practice for WestCap’s portfolio companies. In his role, he works with portfolio companies to develop Customer Success strategies and tactics focused on the Customer Journey that will provide insights to establish accountability, increase efficiency and inspire behaviors. This approach establishes Customer Success as a company value to mitigate risk, retain and grow revenue and drive a partnership model with customers. Prior to joining WestCap in 2022, Mike spent over 20 years building and leading Customer Success teams; from the nascent days of Customer Success at Thomson Reuters to designing and scaling Customer Success at an early-stage startup, to helping Salesforce’s largest high-tech strategic enterprise customers transform their business. Mike is an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco Graduate School of Management and serves as a founding member of their Customer Success Advisory Board. Mike can be found after hours on the Little League field coaching baseball.
